Wordament Goes Global!

Wordament Goes Global!

To celebrate over 1,000,000 downloads of Wordament®, we are proud to announce that Wordament® is set to launch into 5 additional languages on Wednesday 7 November, 2012!

This brings the total Wordament® language list to 12 gameplay languages across both of our platforms- Windows Phone 7 and Windows 8. Click Read More to find out which languages are available and check out the trailer!

New Languages to Launch 11/7:

> Russian

> Polish

> Finnish

> Arabic

> Brazilian Portuguese

All of these languages have been highly requested by our players, and we’re excited to bring them all. But we’re the most excited to bring the game to Arabic, our first right-to-left language. We believe we’re the first major western word-game to support Arabic.

In addition, all of our current languages (except Swedish) have been moved from Beta to full language, meaning we have a full lexicon and have added theme puzzles.

Current Languages:

> English

> French

> Italian

> German

> Spanish

> Dutch

> Swedish (Beta)

Wordament® continues to evolve as a Game as a Service, and add new types of puzzles and exciting gameplay types, including new puzzle categories, the addition of hyphenated words, and new themes across our languages! We appreciate the help of our community to help us get to this point, and encourage native speakers to send in any additions or omissions to our lexicon (in any language) to wordament@microsoft.com

Wordament® is a highly popular competitive word finding game for Windows Phone and Windows 8 that has reached over 1,000,000 downloads.

Wordament® currently sits as the #1 ranked free game in the Windows 8 Store, and the #7 ranked free App in the Windows 8 Store, and can be found pre-installed on a number of Windows 8 OEM manufacturer PC’s and tablets.
