Nice mix of new and old games, just need to get 1 more in alan wake/ Minecraft to be finished

  • http://twitter.com/Navarin Jim E. Rustler

  • http://talesofthegeeklanterncorps.blogspot.com/ Brian

That’s kind of a bummer that you HAVE to play all three games.

  • http://twitter.com/JamieThorburn Jamie Thorburn

Ugh that is aggravating. I have all of the achievements I need for both Minecraft and Comic Jumper but I don’t own Alan Wake. 7 cheeves is brutal!

  • http://twitter.com/Stallion83 Ray Cox

Nice job switching it up and making these slackers get all three games. :P They are all quality titles.

  • Pushaman55

Well. Time to get to work. Challenge Accepted PlayXBLA.

If it was six, I’d probably do it because it would just mean getting the Minecraft achievements (I’ve had 100% on Comic Jumper for quite a while) but alas, I don’t own Alan Wake so nothing again for me this weekend.

  • Anonymous

Was exciting that I was only missing 1 achievement from Comic Jumper… until I saw that the requirement is spontaneously SEVEN achievements this weekend. Ridiculous. I don’t have Alan Wake, and I’m not buying it. Why are those with the most games being rewarded with more games? Think about it….

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Like politics!

    • http://twitter.com/toythatkills mAtt

It’s rewarding their loyal customers, seems fair enough to me.

So we need to have all 3 games for this one? I’m out then. Brutal week. Six would’ve been reasonable. Or at least have 4 cheeves from each game.

  • http://twitter.com/Newdeck Gerard Newdeck

I already have the Comic Jumper achievements. Do I replay it on another gamertag?

    • http://twitter.com/toythatkills mAtt

Nah, they count no matter when you unlock them, so you’ve got a head start.

I love the fact you give us the chance to win games by playing games. So this is a first world problem ^_^ I wish it would still just require 6 or less achievements with each listed game having four or more. That way you only have to have 2 of the games.

  • http://twitter.com/sp8001 Spencer Eadie

Yea, seven is a little mean lol. I own all but Alan Wake so I guess I’m out this week :(.

  • http://twitter.com/louiedog louiedog

Whew. Challenge complete. I love Twisted Pixel but could never get into Comic Jumper. This pushed me to go back and get a couple more achievements.

  • http://twitter.com/Koekoenutt Jarrod Melhuish

I always look forward to the Weekend Cheeve Challenge, and try to buy the current weeks new game & a game if needed for Cheeve Challenge. Wish it was 4 cheeves with 3 games, or 3 cheeves with 4 games. Unfortunately I am out on this week due to having to own all 3. Other than that, keep up the great stuff! The site definitely rocks.

  • http://twitter.com/RudolfKingnBear Rodolfo Antonio

Why you have to be so expensive Minecraft :(

I have a suggestion for next week, which may complete all the achievements of Sine mora (Trollface)

  • http://twitter.com/Worhammer James Malone

Been meaning to get Alan Wake. Guess I will.

  • http://twitter.com/Newdeck Gerard Newdeck

Got em. Thanks, it gave me a reason to finally start up my game of Alan Wake. Been putting it off for a while.

  • http://twitter.com/AntaraelDulacre Antarael Dulacre

This number is too damn high!!

    =( don’t own Alan Wake yet..and haven’t even started comic jumper >.<"

  • Stephenduncanson87

Wasn’t there a Toy Soldiers one!!! I checked on Friday and it was different :S

  • Jonashlarsen

Do you only have the weekend to get them or do you have a week?

    • Anonymous

The challenge ends Monday 9 AM PST…

Damn for the extra achievement this week, I could have bought one more title to take part along with Minecraft but not two :-/

  • Chief

I picked up Alan Wake’s American Nightmare today to do this challenge. Got the 1 achievement I needed and now am waiting to see what awesome codes I get. These are all good games and I recommend buying every one of them.

  • http://twitter.com/toythatkills mAtt

Achievements got and emailed earlier on, another hard one, was fun!

Hey, Alex, the end credits of Alan Wake got your name spelt wrong

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=675166986 Michael Alexander Clarke

Jeez, if you’re gonna have that rule about not needing to play all the games, then at least make that possible. I know this is already passed, but it’s disappointing to know I wouldn’t have been able to get it even if I had remembered to check this last weekend.

How about 4 achievements for each game? Or at least some extras for Minecraft considering it has more achievements than the other 2 games.
