The weekend is at hand and that means it’s Achievement Challenge time! The rules are simple, the prizes are awesome, and the challenge is fun! Click Read More for all the details on the Weekend Achievement Challenge!

>Proof of Achievements earned must be verified by submitting your gamertag link via the Xbox.com website to PlayXBLA@microsoft.com

>To prevent impersonations codes will now be sent DIRECTLY to the GT provided, NOT in email (unless that is your preferred method)

>Each person who submits an email with their gamertag link will be directly entered in to our random drawing to win THREE XBLA Codes where we will pick 5 winners

>The Prizes for this weekend’s challenge are: Winners Choice! You can pick 3 codes you’d like from the Games page, whether it’s DLC or a full game!

This Weekend Achievement Challenge will feature the games listed below. The total number of Achievements you have to earn my Monday 9 AM PST is: 12

Remember that we’re continually finding things we can tweak about the WAC, so if you have any feedback that’s proactive in helping make the challenges worth it, please let us know!

Mark of the Ninja

A ninja is powerful yet fragile. Quick but deliberate. Mark of the Ninja is a stealth platformer that puts you in control of a Ninja who’s clan is in danger of extinction. Observe your enemies from the darkness, manipulate them with simple yet versatile tools, and experience what it is to be a Ninja. From the award-winning studio that brought you Shank, Mark of the Ninja is a game about finesse, manipulation, and sacrifice.

A former pitcher now outfitted with an incredibly powerful bionic arm finds himself in a run-down, dark, and twisted amusement park. The night gets strange and intense quickly as you must use your pitching skills to survive the game of your life. Charge up your diabolical pitch to wipe out all the enemies crowding towards you. Power-ups give your throwing arm insane abilities that will give you the edge against huge mobs of enemies or even the mostfearsome boss. Kinect turns your room into a playing field and your Diabolical Pitch is the main attraction.

i might have a crack at this.
that kinect game is kinect only right?
and about how long would it take to get Dungeon Fighter achievements

    • Anonymous

Most of the Dungeon Fighter achievements are end-game, so a while. It took me over 20 hours, but that was about 65-75% solo — could go faster in co-op.

      • chris

thanks, was thinking of buying it anyway since its on sale.

  • gamerXpro

do you have to buy the games?

    • Squirrel

Unless you know someone who has them already and you play them using your gamertag to get the achievements. If not, yes you have to buy them.
I only own 1 of them…good luck to the others that can do the challenge.

  • tony starc

wow, rough. luckily i have 3 of these games. have fun with dungeon fighter, takes 20-30 hours to get those., and diabolical pitch is pretty awful and not worth the money even for this contest

    King’s Road? Ouch.
For those who don’t know, King’s Road is the hardest difficulty that only unlocks after beating the game and that achievement stipulates you must beat every level on it. If I were you guys I wouldn’t be going after that one.
In fact three of those four Dungeon Fighter achievements are a bit of an ask, especially for a random winner thing.

Anyway, I’d still like to ask you think about widening the winner pool to fifteen winners of one code.

  • tony starc

or 10 for two codes a pop. or fifteen for three :D lol

  • PerfectionShaun

How do you know if your entry was confirmed

  • Adrian Bolstridge

Good luck to those who can do this relatively difficult cheeve challenge. Even though I own 3 of the games, given what’s been said about how long it takes to get the Dungeon Fighter ones, I won’t have enough time to go for it. Maybe next week will be more friendly.

Anyway my Gamerscore landed on 123456 today, I deserve a prize for that surely? :D

  • Anonymous

I have all 4 games, but only 9 achievements. I guess I will have to try this weekend since I am missing the seemingly easy ones.

  • vdh360

Anyway if someone is trying to get the “Road plow” cheevo for DF, hit me up, I’m already at the 2nd stage of the 2nd world (king difficulty). GT: VSlaven

  • Slayer1189

I +1 Perfection Shaun’s comment. Ever since it has said link your profile on xbox.com i’m not certain i’m putting the right link. what I do to get my link is click one of my friends then change the URL to match my GT, as if I linked from me signed in it would only direct me to my profile page,

I have been adding info after the link just incase, and I e-mail both from my e-mail address then copy paste and e-mail to the contactr us section as i’m not sure which entry goes to the correct e-mail address.

If we recieved a confirmation e-mail that our entry for the challenge has been received and the link provided was fne, this would save any confusion

meh this weeks not for me, only have torchlight.

  • tony starc

One cheevo away! this is probably the most time consuming challenge i’ve seen yet!

  • Michael Clarke

I have 2 of the 3 games and 8/12 achievements. Not gonna bother buying another game or even using the free Microsoft Points I’ve gotten through Bing Rewards for what could amount to wasted effort. Good luck everyone.

  • chris

i actually entered an achievement challenge for the first time, dont know if i entered right though

  • Anonymous

No winner email for me, so I am a loser again this week. :(
I just hope I sent the link correctly in the email and I wasn’t disqualified based on a technicality.
