OMG I challenge where I actually qualify again. I already have my twelve. Fingers crossed X.

  • Anonymous

I have literally all of these achievements already. Hah.

    Also…

“To prevent impersonations codes will now be sent DIRECTLY to the GT provided, NOT in email (unless that is your preferred method)”

You’re kind of not preventing fraud if you’re letting people choose to have codes sent to them via email.

    • http://twitter.com/Navarin Buster Wolf

But now the winner picks codes rather than just having random ones sent, which means using their gamertag they can request Alex/Vulcan send the codes to their email address as there’s actual correspondance going on.

I’m sure that’s what they mean.

      • Anonymous

I won last week, and it was all done through email!

But yeah, I can see it’d work if the “you won, email your choices” message originally went to the ‘tag.

        • Anonymous

Same here, no GT correspondence at all. :P

  • Anonymous

Hmm, tempting … Just have to get one more game.

  • http://www.facebook.com/graham.patrick Graham Patrick

The ilomilo achievements listed are from the Windows Phone version.

    • Anonymous

I’m just going to send in my email and say that I have ilomilo completed, so I have the 4 achievements no matter what they meant. :P

      • Ryan

Where does it say ilomilo windows?

    • Anonymous

Oh? Neat – I have that one beat already. :D

    • Ryan

How does it have to be wp? I don’t see it. it shows arcade in the pic

      • Anonymous

The achievements when they posted the challenge were from the WP version, not the XBLA version. It’s been corrected.

        • Ryan

          Thanks for the response :)

  • chris

i am out, but it is good that it is back to just 12 achievements.
maybe next time add more games or something, like 6 to choose from.

  • sans gluten

    • http://twitter.com/Navarin Buster Wolf

Such a shame you can’t convey tone over text…

Anyway I’ve been looking for an excuse to revisit Ilomilo XBLA, this might just be it.

  • Roku750

Is there any chance that you guys can send us confirmation that our entry was received?

  • PerfectionShaun

After months without xbox I’m finally able to enter a challenge, was waiting for a sale of Braid but I guess now I will buy it and I have much eager to play it.

    Good luck to all.

  • Adrian Bolstridge

Good luck to everyone who can enter. Hopefully that WP7 achievement listing for ilomilo was just an honest mistake.

  • http://twitter.com/AntaraelDulacre Antarael Dulacre

Second time I accomplished a WE achievement challenge….*fingers crossed* good luck to all!

  • Frank Meijer

No ‘Splosion Man or Braid, so good luck everybody else.

  • Jeff Randall

What is up with the controls in Super Meat Boy?!? I like platformer’s, but for the life of me, I can’t seem to master the controls. It seems like I constantly have to mash X and A at the same time. Is there some trick to this?

    • http://twitter.com/AntaraelDulacre Antarael Dulacre

Yeah there is it’s called practice and patience =P lol

      • Jeff Randall

        Yeah thanks :)

    • Banffia

      Move with the control stick
      Jump with A
Hold RT to run (allows you to jump further)

Those are all of the controls. You can also slide down walls by jumping into them and wall-jump off them, but that’s it.

Try going back to levels you’ve already completed and see if you can get better times, that’ll help you get to grips with the way Meat Boy handles. It’s all about practice.

      • Jeff Randall

Hey thanks! When I looked at the controls help screen there were arrows pointing to what I thought was the X and Y buttons for Run/Special. I didn’t even realize that the arrow pointing at the Y button is actually pointing at the RT. DUH! I feel stupid now. It is much easier to hold the RT than try to press X and A at the same time.
Also, I found that you need to time pressing the A button when jumping. You will jump much further if you wait a bit between each press. If you pound on the button, you can barely wall climb, but by waiting a fraction of a second on each press climbing walls is easy.
        Thanks again, for the tips!

Is there a way to direct link back to your Live Profile on Xbox.com?

  • Anonymous

Gah… I have eight of these, and I own enough of the games to get up to 12, but I’m not at home this weekend (PAX) to get the rest.

    • http://twitter.com/AntaraelDulacre Antarael Dulacre

You probably get so much more from PAX lol =/ Wish I was there!

  • Dawell escotto

    Nice

  • http://www.xboxamerica.com/ PureEvil x21

I think I joined correctly. Couldn’t figure out if the link I had for my profile was right or not….

  • Anonymous

So I’m curious, did anyone hear if they’ve won the draw yet? I’m just wondering with PAX if they’ve actually done the draw just yet as they haven’t updated the site with a pic of the day winners or anything like that as of yet.

    • http://twitter.com/AntaraelDulacre Antarael Dulacre

      Probably enjoying their labor day…

      • Anonymous

Ahh right sorry. Moved from North America to Australia last year and we don’t have labour day out here (just had Father’s Day on Sunday – weird but) so I forgot, have a happy long weekend everyone
