Alright kids! The first round of Spelunky codes are ready to be handed out or should I say, worked for?! This challenge will award a total of fifteen codes/ winners and will last a duration of two hours. One of the main design and challenge featured in Spelunky is you never know where you’ll end up next! Once the player conquers a level and it’s time to move on to the next level a new one is randomly selected every time! The Spelunky crew have become masters at the unexpected, or have they? This code challenge will require you to be even more random then Spelunky! Using at least one of the character images from Spelunky provided, create a new level for them using an image from real life! The image you use to place the characters in can be something from your personal life or one you found on the inter-webz! The goal is to get creative so pretty much anything you can think of will be accepted, as long as one of the provided images is used! The top fifteen entries as judged by the XBLA team will win a Spelunky game code! The rules and times are broken down below for easy reference, enjoy! If this isn’t your cup of tea, don’t worry! There will be more challenges on Monday as well as the rest of the week! Entries can be submitted by emailing it to PlayXBLA@Microsoft.com.
