Happy Wars: Tips for Beginners
Do NOT engage in fights against multiple enemies ALONE. Go 1 on 1 or bring your teammates with you to trample ONE enemy. Also, it’s a good idea to retreat to where your fellow teammates are if you’re surrounded by multiple enemies.
Attack enemies from BEHIND as much as possible. Hitting them from behind doubles the damage.
Always look for the right place to launch a Team Skill. Launching a Team Skill while you’re in the middle of a mob will just make you an easy target.
Your HP and AP recover gradually, but if you keep still for a while, they recover immediately.
The path leading to the enemy’s castle is not just one—there are many. Even if the enemy team might be dominating the fight, if you discover an alternative path, you might be able to enter a virtually empty enemy castle!
The item you get from an Item Box is associated to the class that you were using when you earned an Item Box during battle. If you want to collect gears for a particular class, make sure to start with that class when you begin a match.
Actively participate in a battle so that you can raise your Item Box to Level 4.
When you spin the Happy Spinner, go for weapons first. It won’t kill you to get the other gears later.
Focus more on what buff the gear gives you rather than on the numbers. Try out the buffs and find what seems most suitable for you. You might find that leveling up an item with a good buff but with a lower weight cap give your greater advantage than equipping an item with higher weight-cap.
If you unlocked a new single-player campaign mission, complete it right away. You’ll get to earn a powerful item.
Tips for Novice Players—By Class
Warrior
Warrior has a selection of weapons right from the start. Each one of them is better than the default weapon, so make sure you check your inventory. The one that looks like a fish is recommended. Also, push enemies off the map to kill them—this will bring instant death to enemies, even if their gear excels yours.
Guard, guard, GUARD! Learn how to guard and retreat.
Don’t try to learn all the skill at one time. Take your time and learn them one by one. Start off with the two default skills—Smash and Stone Throw first. Then, get yourself used to the Rush or Spinning Blade.
At first, it may seem a bit difficult to kill your foes. The Kill Score is not only credited to the player who gave the final blow to the dying foe. Some credit (Kill Assist Score) is also given to the player who dealt damage right before the foe was hit with the final blow.
