More Buffs for Happy Wars!

In Happy Wars, there’s no end to what you can do to your armor, weapons, and shields, but do you know what exactly your buffs do? Check out the list below by clicking Read More and stay tuned as we’ll be posting more buffs this week!

 

What are buffs? 

A buff is a special effect held by items that either raise or lower a character’s stats. Having multiple buffs at different levels stack the effect differently and only one debuff can be active on one attack at one time. For example, if a weapon has both an Ice Enchantment and KO ability, the enemy struck can turn into a snowman or get knocked out, not both.

Skill+ buffs give the equipped player that skill from the beginning of the match, like Rush+. Skill+buffs available to an equipment type are tied to the button that the skill corresponds to. Weapons have A skills, Armor gets Y skills, and Headgear gets B skills. Items cannot have more than one Skill+Buff (like Rush+ and Knockback+). If the weapon, armor, and headgear all have Skill+buffs, the player can learn a total of 9 skills.

 

Max HP Up Lv1-3- Increase maximum HP

Max AP Up Lv1-3- Increase maximum AP

HP Recovery Up Lv1-3 - HP recovers faster. Time required sitting still before rapid recovery shortened.

 

AP Heal Up Lv1-3- AP recovers faster. Time required sitting still before rapid recovery shortened.

Experience Up Lv1-3- Earn more experience in battle Does no increase post-battle score.

MAX HP Down Lv1-3- Decrease maximum HP

MAX AP Down Lv1-3- Decrease maximum AP

Team Skill Exp Up- Earn more experience by participating in a team skill. More effective than experience up lv3. Does no increase post-battle score.

Stone Throw+ – Stone Throw is available from the start. Warrior Item Only

Rocketman+ – Rocketman is available from the start. Warrior Item Only

Roar+ – Roar is is available from the start. Warrior Item Only

Super Guard+ – Super Guard is is available from the start. Warrior Item Only

Summon Materials+ –  Summon Materials is available from the start. Cleric item only

Dash+- Dash is available from the start. Cleric item only

Sacred Armor+- Sacred Armor is available from the start. Cleric item only 

Wall+  - Wall is available from the start. Cleric item only

Lightning Strike+  - Lightning Strike is available from the start. Mage item only

Wind Trap+  - Wind Trap is available from the start. Mage item only

Magic Napalm+ – Magic Napalm is available from the start. Mage item only

Blizzard+  - Blizzard is is available from the start. Mage item only
