Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition Video How-To: Bar Edition!

Anyone who’s ever played Minecraft knows that unique emotion caused by equal parts jealousy and awe. Anytime you join someone’s world and it’s filled with structural wonders you can’t even begin to imagine much less build it’s hard to not be a little jealous. After many hours trying to re-create Mordor, Hogwarts, or a giant Nyan Cat, I decided it was time to start small and work my way up. Each week we’ll post a short video tutorial, material list, and written step by step directions for how to build a new item! Below you’ll see a list of materials needed, building tips, and a step by step video of the featured project built from start to finish!

 

Materials List:

15 wood blocks

20 wood planks

6 Stone Pressure Plates

1 Red Stone Torch

3 levers

2 Pistons

15 trap doors

3 Glowstone Blocks

6  Nether Rack Blocks

1 Crafting Table

30 Fences

 

Building Tips:

Make sure you’ve got a high enough ceiling before building your bar.

The Pressure plates on the counter tops should be added only after you’ve finished placing both the levers and the fence borders.

The trap door decorations should be the very last part of your bar built.
