This is very funny. Apparently I have been playing so much Wreckateer I am ranked #1 on the FameStar boards. I really had no idea I was until I got bombarded by a dozen friend requests from Full House Poker players. I had no idea that the switched was flipped in FHP, and they had no idea that there were other games out there that support FameStar. Now I am apparently the most popular guy in FHP because everyone wants to play me to get the “Play a Megastar” achievements. I am not at that level yet, but I guess they want to get in before my friends list gets maxed out. :)

      That’s awesome! LOL

I expect sales for the kinect sensor and Wreckateer to sky rocket. One guy was actually going to buy both just to get Fame points. Whoever came up with the points concept in a marketing genius. :)

Yeah, I have every possible point I can get for FHP right now, until the Summer Heat starts. Kinda burned through them really fast.

I wish there was some way to get previous seasons DLC. I’d likely eventually wrap everything up for achievements if this were possible :-/

Take it with a grain of salt, but I read in an achievement forum that the Summer 2011 achievements still work after this new update.

Thanks, I heard about that but I have one stray Spring 2011 achievement too :-/ I plan on playing a bit on Saturday. We’ll see if anything pops but time limited achievements are unfortunate

this is the only piece of dlc its had

There has been a Spring 2011 set of additional achievements and a Summer 2011 set of additional achievements. If you want to “correct” me on the “DLC” part and that it was a “title update” (since there is no additonal cost), you’re correct. However this article refers to it as DLC and so did I, casually using the term. The Spring 2011 ones are no longer obtainable to my knowledge. The Summer 2011 ones according to some still seem to be but I imagine that will change when this goes live.

Is the FameStar stuff in Full House Poker actually working now?

It just sat on a loading screen when I went to look at it earlier.

Either way, I’m looking forward to having some more stuff to play for in Full House Poker. Even though I’m not a huge poker fan, I enjoy that game quite a bit.

      Yes it is

Thank goodness the achievements aren’t time-sensitive this time.

It would be great if the developers could just open those achievements back up for everyone, it would look weird but would also be an admission of being wrong WHICH THEY WERE. Especially since many were done out of those achievements due to rampant glitches during both seasons.

Does the TU do anything else, such as fixes? Would be interested to know if the online will be turned into not-a-trainwreck since the game’s being revisited, or is multiplayer going to be “me and a table full of bots” again?

I think this was the only way Full House Poker would get updated, and I’m happy for it. Hopefully they fixed all the errors from the last patch that made the game not so fun for me. I also love that 2 of the achievements are retroactive.

Thanks for giving me an excuse to get back into this title. I’ve sunk a tonne of nights into the game and this update probably means I’ll sink a tonne more into it.

When is A world of Keflings being updated with famestar?
