PlayXBLA: How would you like to be referred to? MOM? OR Your Gamer Tag?
Mary: morthanucantak

PlayXBLA: Speaking of… What are you known as on XBL?
Mary: Yram Eseoh

PlayXBLA: What was the first Video game you ever played?
Mary: Donkey Kong

PlayXBLA: What’s your favorite XBLA title?
Mary: Galaga Legion DX I use this to take a break from running errands on Skyrim

PlayXBLA: What’s your favorite Genre?
Mary: First person to kill the other shooters [that's what she said! - Ed]

PlayXBLA: How many senior citizens, like yourself, play videogames?
Mary: I don’t know any that will even roller blade, so my conversations are pretty much limited to “how’s that walker working out for ya?” versus ” I really like the A.I. because you can’t predict or memorize a level”

PlayXBLA: Which site do you visit more: PlayXBLA or that one site with all the weird dolls no one has ever heard of except you?
Mary: I check each one once every day….and they are cool dolls, dear.

PlayXBLA: Alright, Mom… if that’s your real name…. are you ready for some hardballs?
Mary: That is a loaded question. Please clarify.

PlayXBLA: How many “action figures” are in your collection at this very minute?
Mary: OMG….which collection.. Brave Star, Ninja Turtles, Star Wars 3″, Star Wars, 12″, LOTR 9″ or 16″, And those weird dolls no has ever heard of except me… Probably somewhere in 2,000 figure area. I have no clue, I just know I can use the barn now for storage, so that helps!

PlayXBLA: Do you still have that creepy standee collection of various movie hunks?
Mary: Yes,and they aren’t hunks they are Hotties. If you wish me to answer anymore questions please use the correct terminology.

PlayXBLA: Who is better at videogames, you or Dad?
Mary: Me, he really is bad! He still doesn’t get the concept of watching our “six” in shooters. Now that he is playing co-op campaign on Halo Anniversary we can revisit this question and see if the answer if different.

 


 

 

PlayXBLA: How did you react when it dawned on you and Dad that I was in fact more cooler than my little brother? Nevermind the fact that he is better at videogames, and probably smarter. Just answer the question.
Mary: It was a little painful. But you are the first born. So I guess the day you were born, when your father held you up in his hands, above his head, your tiny little vulnerable body balanced in his uncertain grip in front of all the dogs, goats, and chickens letting them know you were the heir presumptive; it was foretold.

*While I love that my Mom is highlighting my genuine southern heritage I disagree with the time line. I believe my more cooler moment happened when this picture was taken. 

PlayXBLA: Did you take your old people vitamins today?
Mary: Not yet…did you take yours?

PlayXBLA: Have you ever been banned from Xbox Live? IF so, why?
Mary: Never…I mute my mike!

*Don’t let this face fool you….She has been banned……..TRASH TALKING IS RUDE MOM!

 

 

 

PlayXBLA: Final question: How did you get to be such a neat-o Mom?
Mary: Now I’m going to cry….Your kids rub off on you. You know?
